A 17th century character cottage with electric radiators in all rooms, in an excellent location just 100 metres from a sandy beach and safe bathing. At low tide it is excellent for crab, shrimp, oyster and mussel catching. It is in a quiet position in the hamlet of Bétahon, where you have a slip-way 250 metres away plus a general store, bar, take-away food and a boulangerie within walking distance.
The seaside resort of Damgan is 5 kms drive, or you can walk to it along the coastal path, where you have a supermarket, lots of good restaurants and creperies, a Bank, a long sandy beach and a market. Muzillac is also 5 kms drive where you have more shops, 2 supermarkets, restaurants and bars and you can book a boat trip up the river Vilaine to La Roche Bernard at the Tourist Office. Vannes is 20 minutes away, which has a port and walled town with a chateau, lots of shops, a superb market twice a week, restaurants and access to the Gulf of Morbihan.

You are allocated 100 units of electricity and all water per week. Any excess on the electricity is payable @10 cents or 12p per unit. There are 2 woodburners available for your use and logs can be purchased at local shops or from the caretakers.
A clean on departure is not included but available at a cost of £80. We expect the gite to be kept reasonably clean during your stay.
The ports of Roscoff and St Malo are approx. 2 ½ hours away. Caen 3 ½ hours and Cherbourg 4 ½ hours drive.
